Project Description
This affordable housing project featured both standard and ADA/mobility-adaptable design prefabricated bathroom pods. The innovative approach included PVC waste lines for streamlined toilet and sink Ptrap installation, custom-made vanity millwork, and solid surface vanity tops. The pods were equipped with permanent painted doors, frames, and hardware, minimizing on-site finishing requirements.
SurePods addressed overhead clearance issues on level 3 by installing small caster wheels on the pallet, allowing easy movement with minimal lift. The final on-site connections for full pod functionality were limited to hot and cold water supply, high and low voltage tie-ins, and two waste and vent tie-ins, showcasing SurePods’ commitment to efficiency and practical solutions in modular construction.
