The four-story, 96,400-square-foot building consisted of two wings with living quarters connected by a common area and a large outdoor courtyard with seating.
The Military Barracks had 40 two-bedroom, two-bath units and 40 two-bedroom, one-bath units, with all apartments featuring shared kitchens and dining areas. SurePods had manufactured all of the factory-built bathrooms for the project. These bathrooms featured ceiling-height tiles and ADA fixtures, ensuring ease of maintenance and access for the soldiers returning from war. The project team had earned the National DBIA Award for their work on the Fort Carson Project.
