Project Description
The new full-service Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel and Convention Center features 252 guestrooms, a ballroom, meeting and pre-function spaces, ancillary infrastructure, and a three-level, 370-car stand-alone parking garage.
As a key contributor to the project’s accelerated timeline, SurePods played a critical role by prefabricating and delivering 240 bathroom pods. Our precise manufacturing process ensured consistent quality while enabling off-site construction to run parallel to on-site activities. Additionally, our team streamlined the project’s critical path and mitigated potential delays by minimizing on-site labor.
The successful integration of SurePods with other prefabricated components—such as the 3,032 load-bearing cold-formed steel panels provided by Digital Building Components—demonstrates the value of modular construction. Together, these solutions enhanced the project’s efficiency, minimized rework, and supported labor availability amid industry constraints.
This collaboration highlights the innovative approach taken by the project team, including DPR Construction and their Self-Perform Work teams, Digital Building Components, OES Equipment, and other key partners, to deliver a high-quality and efficient project.
