Consigli Construction had turned to SurePods to prefabricate 159 prefab bathroom pods for this multi-family apartment project in Cambridge, Massachusetts. One concern for this project was the environmental impact of the buildings. However, by utilizing SurePods, the pods were constructed off-site and delivered to the site shrink-wrapped and complete. This approach helped keep waste below 2%, compared to the typical 10% material waste in traditional construction.
In addition, another client concern was schedule and budget, by opting for prefab bathrooms, they were able to shave two months off the expected project timeline and achieve upfront savings of at least $200,000 on bathroom construction alone. The use of SurePods not only addressed environmental and financial concerns but also ensured a high-quality and efficient building process for everyone involved.
