Project Description:
This hospital was the main hospital in Victoria until 1983. In 2007, the British Columbia government announced that it would expand and renovate the hospital, increasing the number of beds to 500 and replacing many buildings. SurePods provided 350 bathroom pods to increase their bathrooms. The SurePods prefab bathroom units were part of an innovative approach by the project team to meet a tight schedule in the healthcare construction industry, where schedules are typically more lengthy than in other industries.
