Project Description:
The Replacement Hospital for the existing SCL Hospital (now Intermountain Health, located 3.5 miles away opened in August of 2024. The existing campus has served the Jefferson Country region for over 100 years. The new hospital is one of the most advanced hospitals in the state of Colorado and wasn designed as a “Hospital of the Future.” Every room in the hospital can be converted from a regular room to a critical care ICU room within 15 minutes.
This new hospital provides state-of-the-art care to accommodate emergencies and trauma, maternity care, heart/vascular, and cancer treatment, neurosurgery, and neuroscience critical care. The project was the winner of the project of the year award presented by Martin and Martin Consulting Engineers.
