Project Description:
The Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital was a replacement hospital for the former SCL Health Lutheran Medical Center. The existing campus served the Jefferson Country region for over 100 years. The new hospital is one of the most advanced hospitals in the state of Colorado and was designed as a “Hospital of the Future.” Every room in the hospital can be converted from a regular room to a critical care ICU room within 15 minutes.
The new hospital provides state of the art care to accommodate emergencies & trauma, maternity care, heart/vascular and cancer treatment, neurosurgery, and neuroscience critical care. The project was the winner of the project of the year award presented by Martin and Martin Consulting Engineers.
SurePods collaborated closely with the project architect and on-site MEP trades throughout the design lifecycle to ensure the successful implementation of our prefabricated bathroom pods. When exterior sinks were identified on-site, we coordinated with the on-site plumber to provide plumbing, waste, and vent connections from our pods. Additionally, Intermountain Health opted for sloped epoxy floors with integrated trench drains.
