By removing the construction of the bathrooms from the project site, thousands of man-hours were eliminated.

Project Description:

Virginia Mason broke ground on the $154.5M Jones Pavilion building in 2008. By 2011 crews had completed the 342,000 sq. ft. building’s outer shell. In 2014, three floors were operational when Skanska was tasked with building out three additional floors. This job required a unique approach and it included 51 modular bathrooms. All the construction had to take place in between active hospital floors. By removing the construction of the bathrooms from the project site, thousands of man-hours were eliminated. The ability to minimize disruption, accelerate the schedule, and produce a high-quality finish level made SurePods pods a perfect match for this project.
